Windham
Windham sits at roughly 1,900 feet on Route 23 in the northern Catskills, a one-street hamlet along the Batavia Kill with the trails of Windham Mountain rising just south of Main Street. The town dates to 1798 and keeps its offices in nearby Hensonville; the central school and the public library stand a few doors apart on Main Street, and Hunter Mountain is ten miles down the road.
