Millbrook
Millbrook is a village of about 1,450 people centred on Franklin Avenue, incorporated in 1895 around an 1869 railroad stop and surrounded by the horse farms and estate land of the Town of Washington. Innisfree Garden, a landscape of rock, water and planting in the Chinese and Japanese manner that has been open to the public since 1960, and the Cary Institute's 2,000-acre research campus are both a few minutes' drive out of the village.
